Math Teacher - Jacqueline Dent

Hello, I am Jacqueline Dent, the junior high math teacher. I
joined the Northeast staff in 2003 after receiving my
bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University. Choosing
my profession wasn't tough because I loved kids and I love math, so
I chose both!
In 1999, I graduated from Girard High School, and in 2002, my
fiancé, Mike Sisk, and I, started our own business: FX
Studios. We specialize in photography and videography and are
currently in the process of buying a studio. In what little spare
time I get, I love to read, spend time with my friends and family,
and work outside.
As a teacher, I hope to enrich these students’lives. I want them to know the importance of math, science, reading, etc. in everyday life and I hope to know each of them on a personal, not just professional, manner. Every one of my students is a great person and I look forward to seeing them every day
